What's happening in Bromley-by-Bow over the Jubilee Holidays
It's been great to see flags and bunting on display around the Ward and at (most) schools, but at the same time deeply disappointing that some establishments have not made the effort the celebrate a national event and show pride in their country. Many in our community are left wondering why Marner School and Bromley-by-Bow Centre felt restrained from celebrating the Queen's Jubilee - not a single National flag, or piece of bunting. It's no less perplexing when we reflect on recent events at the Bromley-by-Bow Centre when HRH Prince Charles made the effort to visit the Centre which anyway bears a commemorative stone to an earlier visit by the Heir to the Throne.
